International exchange students

The CY School of Law welcomes applications from students at partner universities who wish to spend a semester or a full academic year studying law in France.

Foreign Law degree programs

The CY School of Law is deeply engaged in international studies and was the first French law school to create degree programmes in foreign law (Anglo-American law and Spanish law) that are taught entirely in English or Spanish.

Therefore, we offer our international students the opportunity to attend law courses in English, French or Spanish.
The School of Law has developed multiple partnerships with the business sector, pioneering the fields of corporate law, compliance and business ethics, real estate law, and criminal financial law. Alongside its international and highly specialised faculty members, CY Law also welcomes distinguished practitioners and professors from prestigious universities worldwide.

ELSA The European Law Students' Association

We all know how difficult it can be to leave everything behind and go to a foreign country.
Maybe you’ve never been before. Maybe you don't speak the language. Maybe it's your first time living alone. It's a real challenge that can be stressful and worrying. We don't want you to experience that kind of situation, because an exchange should be all about meeting new people, learning about the culture, discovering new things, and, most importantly, having fun.

The ELSA association is here to help you embrace your exchange experience. ELSA has set up a buddy system so that you won't be alone when you move. Your buddy will be a guide and translator, and most importantly, a friend. Your buddy will be there from the moment you arrive at the airpport/train station until you return to your home country. They will be around to answer any questions and provide any help you need, or simply be there for you when you feel lonely. You can contact your buddy for information about everyday life, such as advice on choosing subjects, accommodation and transport. In short, you can ask them about anything you are not familiar with.

ELSA has just opened a brand new group at the CY School of Law. Founded in 1981, ELSA has grown to become a network of over 50,000 students and young lawyers from more than 375 universities in 43 countries. In addition to its NGO status, ELSA also has consultative status with some United Nations bodies and the Council of Europe.

During your stay, the ELSA association will offer you opportunities to improve your knowledge of the host country, such as cultural and linguistic events, including pleadings, debates, conferences, workshops and visits to French institutions, as well as the discovery of monuments and heritage. ELSA also promotes Erasmus exchanges and welcomes international students. To highlight just a few of our events, ELSA organised a visit for students to the Constitutional Council and the Louis Vuitton Foundation.

ELSA and buddies have one goal: to help you enjoy your exchange as much as possible!
